3rd Grade Community Circle

Our 3rd grade hosted Community Circle for Design Principle 

 THE NATURAL WORLD. 

EL Spotlight awards were given to Smith Landscaping and Lawn care, Mrs. Troyer's Crew (for growing cilantro in class) and Joseph Hamblin from 6th grade. 

Our 3rd grade has been learning about Social and Civic responstility and combined that with the natural world to plant a tree in the back of our school yard. Our third grade is AMAZING!!! 

5th Grade Community Circle

Our 5th Grade hosted Community Circle for April. 

The Design Principle was The Natural World.

5th Grade is learning about electricity and magnets. The students created a movie to teach teh school about magnets. You can view the video HERE

ROCK THE TEST!

From now through the end of the school year grades 3rd - 6th will be doing SAGE testing.

What is SAGE Testing?

SAGE (Student Assessment of Growth and Excellence), will replace Utah’s longstanding Criterion Referenced Tests (CRTs). SAGE is an online adaptive test that will more accurately measure the full range of student grade-level knowledge and skills. SAGE is not solely a multiple-choice test. SAGE requires students to write, construct math equations, build graphs, and even conduct experiments on the computer. These tasks require students to apply knowledge consistent with Utah's new standards. Parents can view the grade-level SAGE practice tests at www.sageportal.org. Click on the Training Tests box that has an image of a bicycle. Next, click Sign In. You do not need to provide any information.

Today Voyage Teachers and Staff rallied students at an assembly, to prepare them for the long weeks of testing ahead.
