Welcome back Voyage Vikings!!
Students were greeted this morning by our own Voyage Viking Mascot. He was happy to be a part of our special day!
He showed off his tether ball skills on the playground.
He even stopped by the office to say hello to our awesome Secretaries.
Hope you all did too!
A few new things at Voyage this year are...
Our new Kindergartners
If you see them in the hall be sure to give them a high-five and welcome them to the school.
Kindergarten will not start until Tuesday September 2nd
This week will be used for assessment testing. If you have not scheduled an appointment for your child to be tested please contact Ms. Bradshaw or Ms. Lefevre
1st grade will have early out all this week and next week.
The first week of August 25-29th, 1st grade students will be dismissed daily (including Friday) at 12:30.
The second week of school, September 2-4th, 1st grade students will be dismissed daily at 1:45. Sept. 5th is a Friday and an early out day. 1st grade students will be dismissed at 1:00 PM with the rest of the school.
The Buddy Bench
If you notice somebody sitting on the Buddy Bench and they look sad be sure to ask them if they need a friend.We want every Viking to feel loved and important at Voyage Academy.

Fundraising
Please help us with our Fundraising efforts! Funds are used for things needed at the school, such as play ground equipment, extra curricular supplies, events and much much more. You can help with fundraising by......Donating Box tops.
Each box top is worth 10 cents for our school. The money adds up fast so please save all box tops and drop them by the office.

Smith's Community Rewwards
Link Voyage Academy to your Smith's Rewards card and Smith's will donate a percent of your purchases back to the school. This does not effect your personal rewards such as gas points. To link your Rewards Card go to www.smithscommunityrewards.com. Log-in to your account. Go to "My profile" scroll to the bottom of the page and select Voyage Academy under Community Rewards.

Chick Fil-A Fundraiser
Monday, September 29th from 5-7pm bring your family to Chick-Fil-A Spirit night and Chick-Fil-A will donate to our school!
Halloween Carnival
Last years Halloween Carnival was such a huge success Voyage has decided to do it again this year. The Carnival will be held on Friday, October 24th. SAVE THE DATE! If you would be willing to help with the Carnival please contact our Parent Crew Organization pco@voyageacademyutah.org
No first day of school is complete without an
"ALS Ice bucket challenge".
Our teachers Miss. Farley, Miss Richardson, Ms. Packer, Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Mills accepted the challenge.Vikings got to watch it at the end of school today.
